Gavin is referred to as an aural sculptor. An assembler of sounds. A gatherer of notes and bits and pieces. He gathers what’s about him and brings it together in a piece, a song, a track that seamlessly weaves the elements into expression.

From his earliest years Gavin believed that the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything was 42. He recently passed that age and realised that there may be more to it than that.

From the impressionable age of 5 he spun the vinyl in the house which included (amongst others) The Beatles, Roger Whittaker, John Denver and Mama’s and the Papa’s, among others.

His later years brought flavours such as Adam Ant, David Sylvian, Cabaret Voltaire, Metallica, Alva Noto, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Gary Numan, Brian Eno, Taylor Deupree, Tom Waits and Christopher Willits.

This confluence of styles, rhythms and genres has resulted in a musical output that is both eclectic and focused. His first work of poetry, Mindless Tales and Needless Art, conveyed intense teenage angst and frustration with a twist or three tending toward the dark side of lyricism.

Blah blah blah, yad yada yada.

His stuff is great. Listen to it. Experience it. Hope you enjoy it.
